Robert Greene’s Law #4: “Always say less than necessary”
When you are trying to impress people with words, the more you say, the more common you appear, and the less in control. Even if you are saying something banal, it will seem original if you make it vague, and spinxlike. Powerful people impress and intimidate by saying less. The more you say , the more likely you are to say something foolish.
In my own words Law #4: What is it? 90% of communication is non- verbal?
Stretch every morning and be attentive, always, to the separate parts that make up your body. What do you think your body says about you: your posture? your voice? your stance? and all the little details that are not the words you say?
Your body does not lie. So learn how the bodies communicate without speaking.
